How to Find Your Purpose

Successful, but something feels off? If the usual signs of success no longer satisfy and something keeps nagging you. I spent 25 years finding, trusting and living my own purpose, and for the last 8 years I've been helping founders, CEOs and leaders through similar questions. Below is a short exercise to help you find yours.

How to Find Your Purpose, In Short

You find your purpose by listening to your intuition and noticing what energises you, what you would do regardless of reward, and what keeps pulling you. These intuitive insights tend to surface in phases. The free exercises on this page, in writing and audio, are a simple way to start.

Purpose makes decisions easier.

Purpose works like a beacon in the dark and gives you a sense of meaning and direction. Once you know what truly matters to you, other things naturally fall away. Decisions get easier because you can prioritise instead of chasing every opportunity.

Frequently asked questions.

Why do I feel unfulfilled when I have everything?

Because external success and inner fulfilment are not always the same thing. Whilst success surely gives a feeling of inner satisfaction, if outer success is the band-aid for a lack of fulfilment, that inner void will reappear when new success stops coming.

Can I find purpose at work, or do I need to change careers?

You can find purpose at work, either by inducing meaning to it (finding meaning in your current work) or by changing careers. The golden rule is that if things keep nagging you, if you can't find peace at work and if the feeling of “something is off” keeps coming back, you need to listen to your intuition. The exercises might help.

How do I actually find my purpose in life?

In essence by listening, understanding and following your intuition. And it helps to analyse the patterns of what energises you, what you would do regardless of reward, and what you keep being drawn back to. The exercises on this page are a simple and genuine starting point to surface those patterns.

What is purpose in life, where does it come from?

In essence, it comes from within you. Not from goals, roles or expectations, but from what people often describe as 'the real me'. Purpose is that deeper part of you signalling what would be truly meaningful, and intuition is its language. By aligning with it and following it is how to find meaning in life and how to feel fulfilled.

Is this different from Decoding Intuition™?

Yes. This page and its exercises are a free, self-guided starting point to reconnect with meaning and direction. Decoding Intuition™ is the deeper coaching programme that trains your intuition and self-trust over time.

Does purpose really make decisions easier?

It does and it helps you prioritise. When you know what genuinely matters to you, you have a clear filter for what to say yes to and, just as importantly, what to say no to. Purpose turns endless second-guessing into cleaner, faster, more confident decisions.
