How to Find Your Purpose
Successful, but something feels off? If the usual signs of success no longer satisfy and something keeps nagging you. If the longing for true meaning, felt purpose, identity and belonging can no longer be ignored. I spent 25 years finding, trusting and living my own purpose and starting my own business was one crucial step in that. For the last 8 years I've been helping founders, CEOs and leaders through similar questions. Below is a short exercise to help you find yours.
FREE PURPOSE EXERCISEHow to Find Your Purpose, In Short
You find your purpose by listening to your intuition and noticing what energises you, what you would do regardless of reward, and what keeps pulling you. These intuitive insights tend to surface in phases. The free exercises on this page, in writing and audio, are a simple way to start.
What My Clients Tell Me
Why successful people still feel unfulfilled.
When my clients knock on my door, they most often either have an immediate pressing decision to make, or are generally searching for something bigger in life. These are high performing individuals coming to the conclusion that a successful career alone does not fill an inner void, and that outer success and inner satisfaction need to go hand in hand to reach real freedom and happiness. They need to trust their own intuition again, so it can lead them there.
“ Money does not solve all problems, it only hides them.
“ My Saturday evening conversations have started to feel shallow.
“ I don't know what I want, but I am searching for a sense of liberation.
“ I need something that is aligned with who I truly am.

Life is never made unbearable by circumstances, but only by lack of meaning and purpose.

On Why Purpose Matters
Purpose makes decisions easier.
Purpose works like a beacon in the dark and gives you a sense of meaning and direction. Once you know what truly matters to you, other things naturally fall away. It anchors you and saying no gets easier. Decisions get easier too, because you can prioritise instead of chasing every opportunity or constantly learning by trial and error. It brings clarity and peace of mind.
Different Phases, Different Needs
Finding purpose is a long game.
The game of life is about living your purpose. It's a life-long journey and sometimes you feel the need for space and time to explore, and sometimes you feel ready to accelerate.
How I help my clients today reflects what I myself experienced and needed at different points in my own path. Sometimes you need a quick answer to one pressing problem. Sometimes you want to meet peers to share, discover together and to help implement.
Listening to yourself, trusting your intuition, and living your purpose does not always happen all at once. It can come in phases and each phase asks for something different. Based on that, here are some of the ways I can help.

Finding Purpose: Common Questions
Because external success and inner fulfilment are not always the same thing. Whilst success surely gives a feeling of inner satisfaction, if outer success is the band-aid for a lack of fulfilment, that inner void will reappear when new success stops coming.
You can find purpose at work, either by inducing meaning to it (finding meaning in your current work) or by changing careers. The golden rule is that if things keep nagging you, if you can't find peace at work and if the feeling of “something is off” keeps coming back, you need to listen to your intuition. The exercises might help.
In essence by listening, understanding and following your intuition. In essence, it comes from within you. Not from goals, roles or expectations, but from what people often describe as 'the real me'. Purpose is that deeper part of you signalling what would be truly meaningful, and intuition is its language. By aligning with it and following it is how to find meaning in life and how to feel fulfilled.
